Upon receipt of your equipment, our specially trained representatives will thoroughly instruct you on how to use the CardioNet system. While you are on service, you wear a sensor that detects your heartbeats and wirelessly transmits them to the monitor.
The CardioNet monitor analyzes each heart beat, detects arrhythmias and sends each event to the CardioNet monitoring center. Events are sent either by using the monitor's built-in cellular modem or by using your home telephone connection.
Certified Monitoring Specialists assess your events and report results to your doctor.A diagnosis is made and treatment is prescribed when necessary.
We ask that you return your equipment the day after monitoring is complete.
